VlogCam Pro · Package com.dualvlog.camera
Last updated: 4 August 2026
This policy explains what VlogCam Pro ("the app", "we") does and does not do with your information. In short: your photos and videos stay on your device — we have no servers and never receive your media. The only data leaving your device is what the Google AdMob advertising service needs to show ads, and what your app store needs to process an optional purchase.
We do not require an account or login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location. We do not upload, store, or transmit the photos or videos you record — they are saved only to your device's own gallery/storage.
Videos and photos you capture (including dual-camera, reaction, and time-lapse recordings) are written to your device's media storage (the system gallery) and to the app's own gallery index on your device. They never leave your phone through the app. You can delete them at any time from within the app or your device gallery. Deleting a recording removes it from the app's library.
The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process your device's advertising identifier and limited ad-interaction and device data, as described in Google's advertising policies and Google Privacy Policy.
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), we present a Google-certified consent choice (Google User Messaging Platform) the first time you open the app, letting you choose personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset this choice at any time from the app's settings. Watching an optional rewarded ad temporarily removes ads; a paid upgrade removes them entirely.
Optional in-app purchases (to remove ads / unlock premium features) are processed entirely by your app store — Google Play Billing on the Google Play version and Samsung In-App Purchase on the Samsung Galaxy Store version. We never see or store your payment card or billing details; those are handled by the store under its own privacy policy.
On the Google Play version, the Google Play Install Referrer service may tell the app how you found it (for example, which campaign), for basic attribution. This does not identify you personally.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Camera | To record video and capture photos — the app's core function. |
| Microphone | To record audio with your videos and for optional voice commands (on-device speech recognition). |
| Photos / Media / Videos | To save your recordings to your gallery and show them in the in-app gallery. |
| Notifications | To show a recording-in-progress notification while the camera records in the background. |
| Bluetooth (connect) | Optional: to let a paired Bluetooth remote/volume key act as a shutter. |
| Internet / Network state | To load ads and check connectivity for them. |
| Vibrate / Wake lock | Haptic feedback and keeping the screen awake while recording. |
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's system settings; the related feature will simply stop working.
The app does not bundle Google Analytics, Firebase, or any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not build a profile of you.
We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that receives any data is Google (AdMob), strictly to serve ads as described in section 3. Your store (Google or Samsung) processes purchases as described in section 4.
VlogCam Pro is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the ads service, contact us and we will assist.
You can: reset your ad-consent choice in the app settings; revoke permissions in system settings; delete your recordings in the app; and, on supported devices, reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data — since we hold none on our own servers, requests about ad data should be directed to Google, and you may also contact us.
We may update this policy as the app evolves or as store/legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
