Privacy Policy
Hidden Apps Detector & Finder (package app.hiddenapps.detector), published by Zoopet.
Effective date: 13 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Hidden Apps Detector & Finder app ("the app") uses, why, and the choices you have. The app does not require an account.
1. The list of apps on your device
The app's core feature is to show every app installed on your device, including apps that have no home-screen icon. To do this it uses Android's package visibility permission (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) to read, only on your device:
- app names, package names, icons and version numbers;
- whether an app has a home-screen icon, and whether it is a system app;
- which app store or other app installed it, and when it was installed or updated;
- which permissions each app requested and has been allowed, and whether it holds accessibility, device administrator or notification access.
This information is processed in memory to build the lists you see. It is never uploaded to us, to advertisers or to anyone else, and it is not used for advertising, analytics or profiling. The app stores only the package names from your last scan (to tell you which apps are new) and the apps you marked as "I know this app", in private app storage on your device. This data is excluded from device backups.
2. Optional usage access
If you choose to turn on "Usage access" in system settings, the app reads storage figures (app size, data and cache) for installed apps to show storage totals. These figures stay on your device. You can turn usage access off at any time in system settings.
3. Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, with Unity Ads as an additional ad source through AdMob mediation. These providers may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the app asks for your choices through Google's consent tool before ads are requested. You can change your choices at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where required).
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.
- Learn more: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Unity's privacy policy.
Buying "Remove ads" turns off all ads in the app.
4. Purchases
The optional "Remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play or the Samsung Galaxy Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app only receives whether the purchase is owned, so that it can remove ads.
5. What we do not do
- We do not run servers that receive your data, and the app has no account or sign-in.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not sell personal information.
- The app does not read your messages, photos, files, contacts or location.
6. Summary of data handling
| Data | Purpose | Leaves your device? |
|---|---|---|

| Advertising ID, IP address, device info, ad interactions | Advertising and fraud prevention by Google AdMob and Unity Ads, according to your consent choices | Yes, to those ad providers |
| Purchase status | Removing ads | Handled by the app store |
7. Not a security guarantee
The app lists facts about installed apps so you can review them. It is not an antivirus and cannot prove that an app is harmful or safe.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed for them.
9. Your choices and deletion
You can clear the app's stored data in system settings (Apps → Hidden Apps → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling the app. Because we do not hold your data on servers, there is nothing for us to delete; for data processed by ad providers, use the controls described in section 3 or contact those providers.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
