GlucoCove Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TechTenStein Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use GlucoCove: Blood Sugar Log (the "App") on Google Play or Samsung Galaxy Store.

1. Scope

GlucoCove is an offline-first record-keeping app. It does not require an account and does not operate a cloud database for your health logs.

2. Health Information You Enter

2.1 Local health records

Blood glucose, blood pressure, A1C, medication, food, and weight entries—including values, dates, times, reading contexts, tags, and notes—are stored in the App's private database on your device. We do not receive this health information.

2.2 Reports and backups

PDF reports, CSV exports, and encrypted backups are created locally. They leave the App's private storage only when you choose a destination using Android's system file picker. The provider or location you choose controls its own copy.

3. No Developer Analytics or Cloud Health Database

The App does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, or another developer-operated analytics or health-record backend. Advertising and store SDKs may process the limited information described below when their features are used.

4. Advertising and Consent

4.1 Google Mobile Ads and UMP

The free version may use Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and choices, these services may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interactions. GlucoCove does not use health readings for ad targeting.

4.2 Mediation partners

The release build may include AdMob mediation adapters for Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network, Pangle, AppLovin, Mintegral, Liftoff Monetize, and InMobi. A partner can process information described in its own policy only when it is configured to serve through AdMob. Their policies are available at Unity, Meta, Pangle, AppLovin, Mintegral, Liftoff, and InMobi.

4.3 Remove Ads purchase

A one-time Remove Ads purchase is handled by Google Play Billing or Samsung In-App Purchase in the corresponding store build. The store processes the transaction under its own terms. We use the store's entitlement result to disable ads.

5. Local Notifications

If you enable reminders, Android schedules them on your device. The App asks for notification permission only after you choose this feature. No notification server receives your health records.

6. How Automatically Collected Information Is Used

The advertising and store providers use automatically collected information to deliver consent-controlled ads, limit abuse, diagnose their services, and process or restore purchases. We do not use health readings for these purposes.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your health records. Automatically collected SDK data may be processed by the service providers described above for their stated service purposes and as allowed by your consent choices and applicable law.

8. Security

8.1 On-device protection

Android app sandboxing protects the local database, platform backup is disabled, and cleartext network traffic is disabled.

8.2 Encrypted backups

Portable backups use password-based key derivation and AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption. We do not receive or store your password and cannot recover it.

8.3 Limits

No security method is absolute. A compromised device or a destination you choose for an export can expose information.

9. Retention and Deletion

9.1 Local data

Readings remain on your device until you edit them, delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.

9.2 In-app deletion

Settings → Clear all logs deletes recorded blood glucose, blood pressure, A1C, medication, food, and weight entries. Reminder configurations and preferences remain until you change them, clear Android App data, or uninstall the App. Files you exported elsewhere must be deleted from that destination separately.

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect an account profile from children. A parent or guardian should supervise any child's use and seek qualified medical advice.

11. Medical Disclaimer

GlucoCove records and summarizes information you enter. It does not diagnose, predict a medical event, or recommend treatment, medication, or insulin doses. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions and local emergency services for emergencies.

12. International Processing

SDK providers may process automatically collected information in countries outside yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. Your locally stored health log is not uploaded to us.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version.
