These terms govern your use of the Emoji Maker Android app (package
com.emojimaker.stickercreator.diy), published by TechTenStein. By installing or
using the app you agree to them.
1. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial creative work, subject to these terms and to the rules of the store you installed it from.
2. What you create is yours
You own the emojis, stickers and images you make. We claim no ownership over them and we never see them — they are created and stored on your device.
3. The artwork we supply
The app ships a library of face shapes, features, accessories, backgrounds and fonts. These remain the property of their respective rights holders and are licensed to you only as components of creations you make in the app. You may not:
- extract, redistribute or resell the supplied artwork as artwork, a parts library, an asset pack or a sticker pack composed substantially of unmodified supplied parts;
- use the supplied artwork in a competing emoji or sticker creation tool;
- claim exclusive rights in a creation that consists only of unmodified supplied parts, as other users can produce the same combination.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to create or distribute material that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights. You are responsible for anything you make and for where you share it.
When you export a sticker pack to WhatsApp, Telegram or any other app, that app's own terms and content rules apply to what you send.
5. Photos of other people
If you build an emoji from a photograph of another person, it is your responsibility to have their permission, particularly before sharing or publishing the result.
6. Advertising
The app is offered at no charge and is funded by advertising. By using it you accept that ads will be shown. Advertising data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control the content of individual ads; if you see an ad that appears fraudulent or inappropriate, please report it to us.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop distributing the app. Features that depend on other companies' services — such as sticker import into a messaging app, or ad delivery — can change or stop working if those companies change their own products.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that automatic background removal will produce a particular result on every image.
9. Your creations are not backed up by us
Your emojis live in your device's storage. We hold no copy. If you lose your device, reset it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app, anything not otherwise backed up by you or by your device's own backup service is gone. Please keep your own copies of work that matters.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechTenStein will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes consumer protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
