Clinometer does not have accounts, does not have a server, and does not upload your measurements, your photos, or your location anywhere. Everything you measure stays on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is what the advertising SDKs collect, and you control that through the consent choice the app shows you.

No permission is required to use the app. Declining any of them leaves the measuring features working.
Clinometer is supported by ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, with AppLovin and Meta Audience Network as mediation partners. These are separate companies with their own privacy policies, and they — not us — collect and process the data used to select and measure ads. That typically includes your device's advertising identifier, device and network information, and coarse location derived from your IP address.
Where the law requires it, the app shows you a consent form the first time it runs, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Your choice is recorded and honoured. You can change it at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from Android's own settings, which limits ad personalisation across every app on the device.
The Google Play version reads the Play Install Referrer once, so we can tell which listing or campaign an install came from. It is stored on the device and is not transmitted. The Samsung Galaxy Store version does not include this at all.
Clinometer is a general-purpose measuring tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it — though note that the app provides no way to submit personal information in the first place.
Because the app holds no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it; to delete saved measurement photos, delete them from within the app or from your gallery. For rights relating to advertising data, contact the relevant advertising partner using the links above, or use Android's advertising ID controls.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.
